Louda: A Committed Player at the Mining Students Forum of Burkina Faso 2025
Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability for the Future of Burkina Faso’s Mining Sector

From July 23 to 24, 2025, Ouagadougou hosted the 4th edition of the Mining Students Forum of Burkina Faso (FEM-BF), under the theme:
“Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability for the Future of Burkina Faso’s Mining Sector.”

As an engaged partner and Co-Patron of this edition, Louda Group once again demonstrated its commitment to youth, technological innovation, and the responsible transformation of the mining sector.

A Visionary and Inspiring Sponsorship

Mr. Wendlassyda Moïse OUEDRAOGO, CEO of Louda Group, was appointed Co-Patron of FEM-BF 2025, symbolizing the group’s dedication to strengthening the links between academia and industry.
In his inaugural speech, he highlighted artificial intelligence as a strategic lever to enhance performance, safety, and sustainability in mining operations:

“AI is not a threat, but an opportunity to rethink our methods, optimize our resources, and build a more inclusive and resilient mining sector.”

With these words, Louda’s CEO encouraged future engineers to view technology as a tool for collective progress, capable of accelerating the transition toward a greener and more human-centered mining model.

Enriching and Educational Exchanges

Throughout the forum, Louda Group participated in several discussion panels and experience-sharing sessions, bringing together experts, educators, companies, and young professionals.
These exchanges highlighted the complementarity between research and industry while inspiring students to actively engage in the sector’s transformation.

Through its interventions, Louda shared its vision of a responsible, innovative, and forward-looking mining sector, where every actor—from technician to engineer—contributes to sustainability and the creation of shared value.

A Sustainable and Inclusive Vision

Louda Group’s participation in FEM-BF 2025 aligns with a broader strategy for human capital development.
By supporting this forum, the group contributes to:

  • Valuing local talent
  • Stimulating responsible innovation
  • Preparing the next generation of mining professionals for upcoming technological and environmental challenges

Louda is thus helping to build an inclusive mining ecosystem where technology, training, and sustainability advance together in the service of progress.

Through the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability for the Future of Burkina Faso’s Mining Sector,” Louda Group reaffirms its role as a pioneering force in the transformation of the mining sector. True to its mission, the group continues to invest in youth, catalyze knowledge, and promote a responsible, inclusive, and future-oriented mining industry.
